USING PHOTOSHOP'S "ARTISTIC" FILTERS ON BLACK & WHITE PHOTOS

The "artistic filters" in Photoshop can create some interesting effects on black and white photos. In my experience the "graphic pen", "ink outlines", "diffuse glow", and "cutout" filters work best with black and white images.
